A Jordan collab and some SB’s with flavor. I am your host Jacques Slade and this is Today in Sneaks
Starting off with Nike SB, the brand is taking the Dunk Hi and adding some plant life to the upper in anticipation for Spring. Dubbed the SB Dunk Hi Cherry Blossom, the shoe takes the nick-name literally and applies images of Cherry Blossoms over the white upper. From the looks of it, the upper is made of canvas which we know holds up pretty well and the upper is accented with a black Nike swoosh. I like that they used white laces with this pair, though a black pair comes with the release. These are available now at select Nike SB retailers for $100.
On the Jordan side, the collaboration with Just Don is starting to get some legs and the Brand just pushed some images from the collection on social. The images show a tag, a hat, and the lateral side of the shoe which looks similar to the blue pair, just in a different color. I actually prefer this color, which Jordan Brand is officially calling “Beach”, though I think it would have been dope to have gold eyelets instead of the beach colors. But that is just me. Look for these to drop on January 30th for $275.
Speaking of Jordan, the brand is celebrating the Chinese New Year, which is actually Feburary 8th, with a colorful look at the Air Jordan 5 and the Super.Fly 4. The Jordan 5 goes low and reserves all the colors on the tongue, heel, and just a bit across the midsole. The apparel pieces look really clean as well. If you like the Super.Fly 4 you can get in on the Year of the Monkey love as well, but as you can see, the pattern and colors are a bit more aggressive. According to the internets, the Jordan 5 will arrive on January 23, still no word on the release of Super.fly 4.
Okay for the question of the video, I want to know what was the best shoe you played in last year? Which shoe did you like playing in the most? Let me know what your thoughts down below.
