Adidas, Under Armour and Nike Basketball kick off Black History Month. I am Jacques Slade and this is the Heat Check.

This week kicked off with some love from LeBron James on the USA colorway of the LeBron 13. Midnight navy is the official colorway and those will cost you $200 over at Finish line. If you looking to flash back to the 90s, the Nike Air Pressure return in its OG form for $300 today. Those come with the pump and everything. Skipping to Friday, Under Armour is dropping the Haight Street colorway of the Curry 2. The midsole features a mix of the electric blue white and midnight navy, and you can grab those for $130.

adidas is going full steam with their Chinese New Year releases and the D Rose 6 Boost is going to be the first out the gate. These are part of their “Fire Monkey” collection and will cost you $140. The J Wall 2 is also celebrating the Chinese New Year and will feature a heavy dose of black. Those are priced at $115. You can grab both over at FInish line. For Saturday, we have some love for the ladies with the denim version of the Air Jordan 4. Vivid Pink provides the accent and $140 is the price point.

Keeping with the Saturday drops, the Jordan Brand gives us a taste of Black History Month with the Jordan 1 High Nouveau. These are mostly black and are highlighted by a Pan African-inspired color palette on the Swoosh and a few other areas. Those will cost you $150. Now if you don’t mind waiting till Monday, Nike Basketball is dropping signature looks inspired by Black History Month. The Kobe XI will cost you $220 The Kyrie 2 will cost you $120, the Nike KD 8 will cost you $200, while the LeBron 13 will cost you $220. They all pays homage to the achievements of black athletes worldwide in their own way and you can grab the KD, Kyrie, and LeBron over at Finish Line.
